There are many different ways to answer these questions. To win people to Christ and to grow the church. To care for people. To help children understand the Bible. To be a faithful and just steward of the financial resources entrusted to us. To help children grow up to maturity as Christians and as contributing members of society.

Let us not, however, miss the larger purpose of the ministry of Jesus. We must remember the responsibility that Jesus exemplified for us: Building up of the body of Christ through Christian unity and maturity.
